Honors VA & US History-1st Block

The course of study for Virginia and U.S. history includes the historical development of American ideas and institutions from the Age of Exploration to the present. The focus is on political and economic history, along with a basic knowledge of American culture through a chronological survey of major issues, movements, people, and events in Virginia and U.S. History. Students interact with historical documents, maps, and images to investigate historical events, perspectives, and ideas.
