Prince George County Public Schools' 2023-24 School Year Calendar is now available for viewing and download on the division's website following the Prince George School Board's approval of the 12-month calendar on Monday, November 7, 2022.

As a reminder, this coming school year features a first day of school date for students of Monday, August 21, 2023, and a last day of school for students of May 30, 2024.
Key details about the upcoming school year's calendar include the following:
- August 7, 2023: New teachers report; buildings open for returning teachers
- August 9, 2023: All faculty and staff report
- August 9-10, 2023: Building-Based Teacher/Support Staff Professional Development Days
- August 11, 2023: Returning Teacher Workday
- August 14, 15, 17, 2023: Division-Level Professional Development
- August 16, 18, 2023: Teacher Workdays
- August 21, 2023: First Day of School for Students
- May 30, 2024: Last Day of School for Students
- May 31, 2024: Graduation Day
