The Prince George High School Royals sailed into the history books as the school's first-ever boys' and girls' varsity swim teams took to the pool in their first competition on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, placing second and delivering an impactful performance as winter sports season ramps up.
Last week's performance served as a culmination of weeks of planning and preparation, beginning with interest meetings hosted at the high school, where students and families learned more about Prince George High School's newest athletic offering.

During their first competition of the winter season, hosted at state-of-the-art aquatics facility SwimRVA, Prince George competed against Colonial Heights High School, Hanover High School, Orange County High School, and Powhatan High School, with the Royals placing second, scoring 104 points.
