Throughout the week, Prince George High School students participated in various unique spirit days, all themed with creative concepts drawing strong interest from students and staff alike. The festivities continued through Friday as hundreds of students made the trek to the high school athletic stadium for a pep rally celebration. The event highlighted the school's athletic teams, including field hockey, golf, volleyball, competitive cheer, dance, and football teams, including an exciting introduction that allowed the student-athletes to run out onto the field in front of hundreds of cheering classmates, coaches, and staff.

This year's pep rally continued a tradition created in 2023 as N.B. Clements’ 9th graders were able to join their fellow high school classmates for the celebration. Before dismissal, Prince George High School principal Matt McAllister and assistant principal Donna Branch-Harris tested the school spirit of the four classes assembled, with passionate cheers filling the air around the stadium. In the end, Prince George High School's Class of 2027 carried the spirit stick victoriously into the school's second homecoming event of the day, a short parade along Laurel Spring Road.

The victory for the Prince George High School sophomores Friday afternoon in the friendly, but competitive, spirit competition served as redemption for the Class of 2027 after coming so close to winning last year, finishing just behind the Class of 2024.

Dozens of classmates, parents, and community members lined the parade route between Clements Junior High School and Prince George High School to cheer on the units in the parade, including the high school's JROTC, the Royals marching band, the high school’s Student Government Association, and this year's homecoming court, among others.

Under picture-perfect skies and a light, warm breeze, event attendees set up folding chairs and blankets to enjoy the festivities and cheer on the students participating in the community event. The evening would be capped off by a successful outing by the Royals on the football field as the team powered past Meadowbrook 40-20 in front of a cheering crowd!
