Report cards for the first nine weeks of the 2024-25 School Year are now available in ParentVUE, with students bringing paper copies of their report cards home with them by the end of the week.

As students transition into the next grading period, which runs through mid-January 2025, over 1,900 PGCPS students will carry perfect attendance status into the second nine weeks.

The entire Prince George High School community came together for a week of 'Royal Celebrations' as they host the school's annual homecoming celebrations, with Friday being highlighted by an exciting pep rally and hometown parade along Laurel Spring Road ahead of the football game against Meadowbrook.

Random truancy sweeps during the 2024-25 School Year will allow school staff to reestablish connections with students and families facing attendance challenges to sure they receive support that allows their child to return to school regularly.

The high school's innovative sports marketing program has added Sports & Entertainment Management to its offerings, giving students hands-on experiences at event planning and execution, along with sports-focused digital content creation.

Event attendees included the Virginia Department of Transportation, VCU Health's LifeEvac medical transport, and a diverse selection of local businesses and agencies, providing valuable information and resources to students.

Dr. Lyle will begin serving as PGCPS’ district superintendent on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, bringing nearly 30 years of experience to the Prince George County Public Schools community.
