A Message from Your PGHS Parent-Teacher Organization

Welcome to a new and exciting year at Prince George High School! We are looking forward to welcoming back all of our returning families and extending a special welcome to those who are new to our school community. It is our honor to serve as the PTA Board this year. We are proud to work alongside an outstanding school administration and look forward to providing fun and engaging opportunities for students, families, and staff. We would also like to thank all past volunteers for their time, energy, and dedication.

For the PTA to be effective and truly representative of our school community, everyone's participation is important. Many parents feel they cannot participate because they are unable to attend meetings or be present at school during the day. We want every family to feel connected to the Prince George High School PTA and school community. Whether you have 30 minutes or a few hours to give, your ideas, talents, time, and voice are valuable. We can help match your interests and availability with opportunities to support our school in meaningful ways.

All parents and teachers are invited to participate in PTA events throughout the year. As the new school year begins, we ask for your support so that we can continue supporting our students and staff. We will have a table set up during orientation for membership registration and spirit wear purchases. Becoming a member helps you stay informed and be among the first to learn about upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, and PTA-sponsored programs.

We have many exciting plans for the year ahead, including the annual Homecoming Dance, school spirit initiatives in partnership with athletics, monthly staff appreciation activities, and a back-to-school breakfast for teachers.

The PTA is an organization powered by volunteers. Our events and programs are successful because of the generous support of parents, teachers, and community members who donate their time and talents.
